Exhibition Time

We arrived on Monday 18 October at the Oxmarket Gallery with the cars loaded with paintings. It was hanging day. Once they were all in the gallery space we were scratching ours heads as to how it was all going to fit in, and in fact it didn’t so we have a few spares. Selecting what to show, or not, was quite difficult but by the end of the day it was looking good. On Tuesday I collected a stunning flower arrangement from Amanda Hassell at Beckie Lou (Bosham) which was an excellent final touch to the exhibition and I was open for business. It was actually quite busy with people visiting the Gallery and I was receiving some very positive feedback. The two weeks were incredibly successful with a sale every single day. I spent an hour with some Y9 pupils from The Bourne school who were a lovely bunch of kids who asked some wonderful questions and were really interested in what they were seeing. All in all a great success.
